Hi, I'm Michael. I created Transit Design while curled up in bed on a cold January night in 2010. I live in a lovely lakeside town in Northern Michigan and am a freelance graphic designer. I love typography anything with a retro or vintage flair.

I first launched Transit Design on Etsy, making custom subway signs and vintage-style travel posters. It was the height of the Great Recession and thanks to wonderful folks like you, my sales helped save my home from going into foreclosure.

Since then, I continue to design and create new pieces. My custom wall art remains the most popular, with personalized touches unique to you. I enjoy making artwork that tells a story; whether it’s your European travel adventures, a family wedding, or visits to the lake house. When displayed on your walls, these pieces can evoke wonderful memories.
